Las Vegas Trip Summary
The following video was recorded by my friend Chris in the Pearl Theatre at the Palms. Kylie Minogue is a very talented singer. Chris and I didn't know most of her songs, but her devoted fans sure did! For me, it was a treat to watch Kylie perform AND whip her fans into a delirious frenzy.
If I had to sum up my Las Vegas trip with a picture, it would be this one:
Why the smiling? Because people make me happy. On this trip, I got to hangout with my friend Chris again. We walked the Strip lots, shopped, did all three rides on top of the Stratosphere, saw Kylie AND the Lion King, and met many old and new friends together.
Gambling wise, I had a bit of good fortune. I made some great college football picks and left Las Vegas a winner. There was that demoralizing loss in air hockey, but I'll get Chris back for that one day!

Wow, what a FAB time you had! You seem to have had more pleasures crammed into a few hours than a lot of us can brag about in several months. Good for you! Thanks for sharing - especially the little flavour of that gay-man's GODDESS!
Overall Vegas was a good time. I love going there, all the visual stuff keeps me from getting bored.
Could never find the balls to hit those Stratoshere rides. And when finally up there, they looked fairly tame, save one that REALLY hung over the side - and spinned. ...and it was closd.
But glad you had a good time.
I heard the Star Trek Experience is gone ;-(
I'm guessing w/SpongeBob's eyes, he forces you to stand on that side of him.
I would have been more interesting pic if you stood on the opposite side.
You're one brave man to ride those rides on top of Stratosphere! With the Kylie show, it couldn't have gotten any better!

Well, maybe we can convince Homer to go see "The Lion King." But like you said, he'll be probably busy doing other things, LOL. We were at the Mandalay Bay too over the weekend to check out the Tattoo Expo. Was that you being tortured? LOL Sounds like you guys had a great time. Say Hi next time you're back into town :)
