Sonoran Desert Trip

Today, Homer and I made a trek down King's Canyon trail in the Sonoran Desert. It was very scenic and quite peaceful. I got fussed at several times for having trouble walking over the loose rocks down the trail. In my defense, we have flat ground and very few rocks littering paths in Louisiana.

My excellent tour guide Homer

I did NOT shriek like a girl when Homer suddenly announced there was a snake next to us.

The trail had cool natural steps

Since you did post this, I assume you made it out of the desert alive.

(Unless Homer posted this so we wouldn't start looking for a body.)

Tell me you didn't shriek. Please. A tough dude like you? They wouldn't be happy to hear that back home.

I thought I heard a sound I recognized coming from over the horizon the other day - you DID shriek and you know it! I heard it all the way here in Boston!

It looks like you're having a lot of fun. I need a vaca.....sigh...
