Oregon State KILLS the Beast!
Every year, California's beloved USC is exhalted to #1 in the polls. It makes us, in the South, spit out a wad of tobacco in disgust because we all know it's bullsheet. There aint nothing but dem der tree loving hippie liberals all up and down the west coast. What do they know about football?
Oregon State beats #1 USC 27-21. Hell... you Beavers may have the same size stadium as my High School, but goddamn I love you! Congratulations on dethroning media darling USC once again.
After the TCU Horned Frogs beat Oklahoma this weekend, the SEC will have the #1 (Georgia), #2 (Florida), and #3 (LSU) teams atop every poll in America. The Golden Era of SEC Football will be continued. Hallelujah!
I do feel sorry for fans of the Tenneessee Volunteers. While the Gold Rush continues for many SEC football programs, the Vols have crashed. If misery loves company, it also sucks to be a fan of Arkansas, Mississippi State, and South Carolina right now.

I am SOOOOO glad USC got their asses beat by an UNRANKED team! Auburn got beat by ranked LSU and dropped from 9 to 15... No telling how low USC will go.
USC is so overrated. I don't know why the media love them so.

Well history shows us that the top teams who get the earliest loss in the season end up in the national championship game - so let's hope LSU goes undefeated and USC gets a 2nd loss.

Kirk Herbstreit is probably crying his eyes out over the USC loss. The USC's and Ohio States of the world wouldn't stand a chance in the SEC.

As a labeled "Hippie Liberal" I must point out that you fail to mention that A WEST COAST team beat USC, not an SEC team. Yes you mention the name of the University, but they are still a PAC-10 team.
And I have been called much worse at my office, "Bleeding heart liberal" comes to mind...But I do work with a bunch of Republicans. Y'all seem to think they same way whether in Louisiana or Oregon.
I'm more concerned with the Terrapins traveling to South Carolina this weekend. Go TERPS!
