Melancholy

Things are not always so cheerful. Sometimes I get sad. Today, I took something personally that someone said on the tennis courts. They didn't understand where I was coming from and said something hurtful. It puts me in a sad mood when I am misunderstood. I'll just be stuck with my melancholy for a little while longer.

Oh please, Texas wouldn't have the likes of you! Hell, I thought I was watching a Toby Keith or Kenney Chesney CMT video. Only better. And sexier.

Why so sad?... is there something we can do about that long face??... Hope you'll get better soon.

I don't like to see you sad, you're too good to look like... well... sad.

As i already told you... i hope things will only improve.

Best of luck!!

Don't let anyone deny who you are. You seem like a really cool guy who has so much to offer besides your looks. We all get sad sometimes and there's nothing wrong with that. Things always get better.

Sorry you're not feeling well Brett.

However I don't think wearing a Texas tee shirt will help things. If I had to wear a tee shirt that said Texas on it I'd be pretty down and out oo.

Patty Griffin on her latest album "Children Running Through". It is a GREAT album that should have been nominated for a Grammy this year.
