The Comment Bug has Infected this Site
I have tried to deny it's presence. It sends shivers down my spine when I think how my once glorious blog has gotten sick. It's the comment bug. I don't understand it. Is it too many tennis stories? Too many stories about myself? Too many pics of myself? Is God punishing me? Are my readers punishing me? Why?! Why?! Why?! Is my blog just not that buzzworthy anymore? I am an accomodating guy. Please help me understand how I can better serve you readers.

I tend to not comment on Tennis/Football posts cause I have noting to say about them. You know, a lot of us ARE gay men, after all :D
But, same goes here. It seems impossible to tell what will strike interest in people enough to comment and what won't. If I were making money off of it, I'd be really upset about it. But as it is, I just miss the conversations.
It's honestly hard to be "on" all the time, though, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Try starting every post with a shirtless pic, that might help.

You know that I love the tennis posts! You're just more prolific than most of your readers (like me).
I think it my grandmother's fault. She said that if I didn't have anything meaningful to say, to keep my mouth shut. And I guess, too often, I do.
Or would you believe that I'm just shy?
There's nothing wrong with what you post. Or how you post it. Just remember that some of the most wonderful blogs get very few comments. I find that the more meaningful the post the less paople seem to respond to it. Sometimes its just hard to put our responses into words. Now smile and be happy!!! Life is beautiful!!!

Brett Brett Brett - woo is me? The best part of your blog is never knowing which of the gemini personalities will be posting. Also, did u not win like Blogger of the Universe or something? Perhaps u gotta go back to paying friendship dues to get more positive activity? Seriously, you need to have your own reality show! You are a hoot and a half. Just go easy on the Shrew- count each day as a gift. Keep the fricking sports postings coming. Maybe, you can also have like a weekly talk blog session and share much more of yourself. Yeah, I think the first should be 5 - 10 minutes of you showing the correct way to pack (3 bags) for an overnite trip.
You have way too many shirtless pics of yourself here. From now on for every shirtless pic, we need to see a full nude-front or back. You've been teashing us for far too long. We need to see every part of the fine specimen you are.

As for comments in general, I find the posts with the least comments are some of the most viewed. Of course, I never really care about the number of comments anyway.
Keep blogging about whatever floats your boat. Who cares about the number of comments.
I don't know a lot about tennis, but I do enjoy your reports on the sport. I also really like your sharing your daily life.
Tennis posts are less interesting to me (in my opinion) than pictures of the dogs, horses, and chickens, which show your readers a little about the country life you lead.
Sorry dude. Tennis is boring.
