LSU vs. Ohio State in the BCS National Championship!!!

I bet Jeff from Ohio is SHITTING NOW! His Ohio State Buckeyes have to play my LSU Tigers for the BCS National Championship on January 7th, 2008. Now, Jeff has to put his foot where his mouth is. You know us Southerners know how to play football. I think a good old fashion butt kicking is in order. I am DROOLING at the prospect that Jeff will be my bitch for a whole year! EVIL GRIN.

With #1 Missouri and #2 West Virginia losing on Saturday, Ohio State and LSU were the Cinderellas invited to the ball. Yes... I feel the venom from the college football world. They are saying LSU doesn't deserve it because they blew two previous chances when they were ranked #1. Well... SHIT HAPPENS! I am thrilled. This is turning into the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!! :)

Let's hope the LSU Tigers get back to full strength in the next five weeks so we can play some LSU FOOTBALL. I am praying for a healthy Matt Flynn, who has led us most of this season. He is great big game QB. Perriloux did a fine job as a backup QB against Tennessee, but he looks a little unsure out there calling plays. This is the third consecutive year that LSU has won more than 10 games each season. It's great to be an LSU Tiger aluminus and fan!

GEAUX TIGERS! Give the Ohio State Buckeyes a GOOD OLD FASHION SOUTHERN BUTT KICKING!!! :)

I gotta admit, LSU does have great fans.

(OMG! Ok, I'll fess up; I watched the game - but I won't say who I was cheering for!)

What a difference a few hours can make. Could it be LSU v.s. OSU for the National Championship in New Orleans?

I thought that place was flooded.

We'll see what happens...but it for sure looks like Ohio State and either LSU or Georgia. I think if voters want to prove that we need a playoff system, then Georgia gets in to the title game...but more than likely it's Ohio State and LSU, and that then makes one of the most exciting BCS bowl games will be USC vs. Georgia in the Rose Bowl.

Well, Brett, congrats to you and your team. I'm happy that an SEC team is the national championship game, however, I have to say that this BCS thing is crap o crap! I just don't think that Ohio State is the best team in the country. And while, I think LSU might not be in the title game is they had played Gawja for the SEC championship game, I think several teams could make a case for #1 and #2. It's like a few years ago in 2004, Auburn went 12-0 and didn't get to play in the title game. Oh well! I've focused my sights on the Chick-Fil-A bowl, where Auburn plays a very good Clemson football team. GEAUX Tigers (squared!).

That was the longest game I have EVER seen on TV. Damn!

Your spoiled rotten already Brett. Why does someone so pretty get EVERYTHING they want for Christmas?
What if the Buckeyes do as the Razorbacks and kick LSUs ass? I'm just asking.

And who knew that Illinois would actually make it to the Rose Bowl? Good luck to LSU! It was an easy win for us over OSU. ;-)

Geaux Tigers. I want to see sexy Flynn and Hester spraying each other, naked of course, with champagne after they win the championship. I will be in the states for the game, can't wait to watch them win.

Don't know a damn thing about football, but I did zero in on that "PUTTING YOUR FOOT WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS" thing you mentioned.

I am so confused. What is football? Does it have to do with Gumbo?

Come On - Lets Get Real - I know that LSU is a good football team but they have had 2 chances already this year to hold onto #1 and they BLEW it...now they are back in for a 3rd time...ugh ugh ugh

However I did pick them in the pool on EPSN.org to win :-)

Both LSU and Georgia beat Alabama, Auburn, and Florida....Georgia beat Kentucky who beat LSU...LSU beat Tennessee and S. Carolina who beat Georgia...

LSU is 11-2
Georgia is 10-2

Was LSU that much more impressive???

I mean LSU is a great team but Georgia should have been considered.....SEC Championship or not......

Matthew,
You don't seem to get it. Georgia WAS considered . . . by all of the voters in three human polls and six computer rankings . . . and Bulldogs just didn't make the cut.

Tell me this, if the situation were reversed with Georgia going 11-2 and winning the SEC championship, would you be arguing that a 10-2 LSU deserved to be in the national championship game?

I didn't think so.

Good for LSU but momma was a Buckeye and you know how we gay boys love our mommas. I have to back Ohio but I'm glad we get to play such a hot Southern team.

My apologies Brett!
