The boy pinched my fat and said I was leaner in last year's Bayou Grizzlies Contest. I lifted up my shirt to protest, where he promptly told me I need to trim. Blah. Whatever Mary!

The Shrew and I had a great time at the LSU vs. Auburn game. We did a cookout with my mother's famliy, then headed up to Baton Rouge. We were able to tailgate for a few hours with a bunch of Heauxmeauxs before the big game. I was surprised how many Auburn fans were at the game. They even brought their full band. They were very rowdy! It's always a treat to see a lively bunch from an opposing team. (Florida fans sit on their hands).

Great ending to the game. LSU is the king of last minute comebacks. Even if that last pass had been incomplete it would have been an exciting finish (although different end).
As mouthy as Les Miles is, he backs it up with gutsy football. Five 4th-down conversions (in one series!) against Florida and then going for basically a Hail Mary when a relatively easy field goal would guarantee the win against Auburn. That's guts.
Something Fulmer never has had. Even when Tennessee is/was winning, it was never gutsy.
Only chance Fulmer has ever taken is the chance he's taking right now on keeeping his job.
What a game! I couldn't sleep for hours afterwards! That last play by LSU was unreal! So exciting! I was really proud of Auburn, they lead most of the game, and played extremly well. Maybe next year!

Geez. Something else for Brett to smile about. That's one kickass stadium. Seems HUGE for college but then again I am from the hills of Arkansas.
I think there's more than one dog in those pics but I'd like to pet all three.:)

Looks like a great time was had by all and a victory on top of that doesn't hurt, either! Nice pics.
