Today I played with the Houston Tennis Club. Brian D. and I played as Doubles Partners against two guys in a higher classification than us. We lost the first set 7-6. We were tied 6-6 in the second set, before time ran out. Some rude prick ran us off the court because he had training to do. We just had the seven point tie-breaker game left to play. Now, we'll never know if we were just as good. I think we are. I got the nicest compliment from a guy named Mark who played against us. He said my skill level was every much in the same classification that he plays in. :) Wow. That made me smile. I think Brian and I made GREAT teammates! Thanks Brian. It was a pleasure as always. ;)

Damn it! I thought I was the only one whose leg you put your hand on. I feel cheated on.
Funny, Lewis.
Anyway, Brett, like I said yesterday, this was our first time as doubles partners ever. Thank you for the golden opportunity. I know I have said it before, I wanted to say it again....You did play very well!!! Although we lost the first set, our scores were very impressive especially when we played against the one level higher team.
Yes, I totally agreed with what Mark said about your skills. I must admit that I was cheerfully surprised with how improved you played as a doubles player. Also, during that match, I've became confident in you as my great doubles partner. Yes, we have had made great teammates. I'd like to be your doubles partner again in the near future, maybe at one of the future tournaments if possible.
Gracias, mi amigo.
Brian D.
