MOFO opponent... oh how you make my blood curl!

I haven't blogged about the humiliating defeat I suffered last week at the hands of Whipping Boy. I suppose if I didn't blog about it, then the nightmare never really happened. I guess that was my reasoning. (kind of like when the Saints got drubbed by the Bears) Sounds logical right? Well... Whipping Boy waxed me 6-1, 6-3. I can't recall a time I have been beaten so handily by Whipping Boy. I could have blamed Taco Bell. I could have blamed it on my new stressful job or moving into a new home. I could have made many excuses for that "L... L... Loss". (it is too distasteful of a word for me to even utter) Whipping Boy was just plain ass better than me on that day.

But oh was my body ready to burst into flames as my blood felt combustible. I don't like losing. Even if you play a near perfect game, a loss is a personal reflection of my unreadiness for the challenge at hand. Yes, I am very hard on myself. I feel just like how Tennessee's Pat Summit must feel in trying to get her girls prepared for a run at the Final Four annually. And you know Pat HATES to lose!

Well... I don't have much time. The Fifth Annual Heart of Texas Classic -HOT 5 in Austin Texas is March 10-12, 2007. E.Shrew and I are both competing in this tournament in singles and as double partners. I have to start getting SHARPER.... not backsliding! Whipping Boy is coming over for Round Two tonight. My can of whoopass is ready to be opened. Who will show up tonight? Taco Bell Boy? Or Brett the Asswhooper? Stay tuned for results!
