From FEMA Trailer to Custom KB Home

Now that daily egg production has reached 7 per day, E.Shrew and I upgraded the roost from a shabby FEMA Trailer to a custom prefab KB Home. Notice the new building code called for an elevated house. This is actually an outdoor playhouse we got for 60% off at Toys R Us. The doorbell even works too! Are these the most spoiled chickens in the universe or what?!

It looks like paradise! A chicken's dream.
OMG, that's too funny, you bought them a plastic house!
My production would be up too if I was as spoiled as those chickens...hehehe
Will they be needing a decorator, or are they going with that 'rustic' look?
Rawforreal....if they do need a 'decorator' then I have dibs. That's my role and no one is going to steal that job. Now lets see...I think we need to add more fluff to the interior..hmmm! What else?....
Oh my goodness!!! my girls would be SOOOOO jealous!!! Of course, they're doing their 18month molt right now, so they're extra cranky -- just be warned Kelly, at 18 months, egg production will go down down down down while they molt and feathers everywhere everywhere will go up up up up ...
Plus, the girls are just SO un-photogenic when molting (they look like they all have mange)...
Yes, just as I have regular customers buying my farm fresh eggs, I go from ten eggs a day to maybe two or three. but I could stuff a few mattresses this morning!
thanks for sharing this coops R us pic. loving it!
Tony, does that make you the "fluffer" ? LOL
Sorry bud, just couldn't resist it :)
