The Shrew did more supervising than actual working.
Here he is killing time pretending to watch the dogs just so I will do most of the physical labor.

I'd have helped you in a pinch. The Shrew needs to get down and dirty too! Hope you're having a great weekend. I am a blogger officially. Yikes!!! Check out 'Life's Colorful Brushstrokes' if I can just assure it is visible to all. Of course my first posting as of today may be why I am having problems pulling it up on the web! We'll see.
OMG! That so reminds me of home and I do NOT envy you. We used to plant a whole acre of any and everything. OY! was it back breaking work.
Send me some tomatoes and okra!

Looks like hard work - but the kind that is satisfying and almost fun. In my opinion, it beats the office work environment any day :)

Do you have any idea how much fresh produce is going to cost this summer, with the price of gas & low sulfur #2 diesel fuel spiraling out of control? I'm planting my own veggie garden again this year, too.

that's the first thing I'm missing about leaving the house and moving to the condo.

We went to a garden centre yesterday and bought a bucnh of herbs to make a window box herb garden. Not a fulfilling as the big garden but it will have to do.
boy does this bring back memories. Oh I see sexy Tony has a blog now. I'm going over there next!
You have now inspired my other half, Jeff to start his garden next weekend....we did get tomato plants this weekend...still playing catch up from vacation...
